Here's something to "feast your eyes"... my Art Journal entries!

Diyanah, my daughter always write me love notes/letters. I think this is one way of telling me that she loves me no matter what.....and so, i 'collage' one of her love letters in my art journal.

i'm going through some emotional roller coaster lately, but, i guess having a friend to be with, my art journal to 'paint' my emotions, my family to talk to and my Faith in God helps me to pull through it all. i always tell myself to always 'keep moving forward....' and think happy thoughts...heees..

Helloooo!!!! Thank You to each and everyone of you for visiting my blog. I'm flattered and honoured by all your lovely comments that makes my 'creative' journey even more meaningful to me.

Lets do a tutorial! But before i start, i just wanna say Thank You to my friend, G, for "RAK-king" me 10 of these tags. Lets begin....

adhere five tags close to each other on a non-stick mat and stencil your tags with gesso for texture. (i used my very favourite Tattered Angels stencils) Let it dry. 

paint randomly using two colours of acrylic paints. Let it dry

stamp using one of your bold stamp. Let it dry.

stamp again (this time i used acrylic paint instead of ink) Let it dry

begin to embellish....(i used decorative masking tape)

and then collaged my favourite fibre paper! Let it dry

stamp the background (i used script stamp)

distress the edge (i used paint dabbers in copper, dry it, and expresso)

set the eyelet

adhere sticker (from this point onwards its really up to you, so, i'll just show you pictures after this)


using 'Golfinger' in gold to distress the edge of the sticker


embellish with charms....perhaps...??
